About us

ESSIL was founded by two technocrats and based out of BITS Pilani Goa incubation center in 2018. ESSIL started as the Research and Development centre of Trumed Group (link) which is currently a INR 20 Mn revenue generating entity specializing in biomedical devices in specialized apps like Infant cardiac surgery, etc.

Founders and C suite of ESSIL, are Professor Roy and Mr Vijayakumar, who together have more than 5 decades experience in membranes development, membrane manufacturing and membrane based applications commercialised in Biomedical and Water sectors. Mr Vijayakumar has rich experience of in design to market of high-end medical devices in electromedical and biomedical applications spread across India and International.
